IT Cybersecurity Role

The Guardians are composed of seven members, two of them are Benjamin POISSONNET - SIP Services Lead, and Claude Pichereau - Cybersecurity Architect (part of the Network & Cybersecurity Team). Together, they are the Cybersecurity Guardians, ensuring that all initiatives within the Portfolio Process are secure and aligned with the organization's safety standards

At Syensqo, the Cybersecurity team is transforming the organization's approach to security, embedding it into the core culture. They empower every employee to contribute to a secure environment by institutionalizing best practices.

Their Global Cyber Strategy and Roadmap align with Business Objectives, establishing a security-by-design environment with robust governance. By bridging Business and Technical Cybersecurity Risks, they ensure a unified risk management approach in collaboration with Enterprise Risk Management.

The team vigilantly safeguards Operational Technology (OT) systems and provides intelligence on emerging threats, enhancing detection and response capabilities. Through their dedication, they advance Syensqo's security posture and cultivate a culture of security awareness, building a resilient organization for the future.

B. SIP Objectives & Mission

The SIP team's mission is to ensure that cybersecurity and compliance are inherently integrated into the design of every IT and OT project lifecycle. The team is committed to embedding cybersecurity requirements and compliance into all contractual agreements. Additionally, they strive to ensure that business owners are fully informed and understand the associated risks before implementing any product or solution.

Objectives:

  1. Separation Program (Top Priority):
The Cybersecurity team's primary focus is on the Separation Program, where they are dedicated to integrating comprehensive Security Annexes into each vendor's contracts. This initiative is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of security across partnerships.

  2. New Initiatiatives (IT Portfolio):
The team is actively assessing new sensitive initiatives to ensure they meet stringent cybersecurity requirements. This proactive approach ensures that all new initiatives are fortified with robust security measures, safeguarding the organization's interests.
