1. Subsidies identification

Introduction

Regional, and national funding opportunities can be used for sustainable projects as part of the Solvay One Planet programme.

In this context, this standard wil help its user to:

• Track regional (EU, US…) and National calls for tender (China, French…) for research projects to identify and implement sustainable solutions at site level and get funding for them.
• Develop specific partnerships with start-up, laboratories and other companies working on sustainable technologies
• Support the BUs and the sites for the preparation of applications and for the implementation of projects.

As a consequence, following these guidelines will lead to:

• Partnerships with start-up and research organizations
• Progresses in One Planet KPI
• The creation of best practices, identification of technologies that could serve other sites

Implementation and prerequisites

There are some elements required before starting subsidies identification: 

• Put the governance in place for the presentation / calls for tenders
• Identify internal technical expertise for the application and support for the general application (internal or external)

The implementation of such a requires a project leader on case by case (1 FTE) at GBU / site / R&I and organization of the project team to be put in place.
