Connect Using Mobile Devices

Only devices that had enrolled under the Solvay Mobile Devices Management (MDM) are possible to connect to dashboards built using Qlik Sense. These mobile devices include:

It is recommended to connect using the Chrome Browser for ChromeBook users. Normally on the first connection to Qlik Sense dashboards, |
Now click on , it will then prompt to give the "BookMark" a name (for future recalling purpose) and a short description (if required) which is optional.
Once you are done with the "BookMark" Title and "Description, click on again to "save". To check if your new created "BookMark" is saved, you can click on once again, you will see under "My bookmark" your newly created "BookMark" name will appear with the creation date. When you need to recall this "BookMark" on the next connection, simply click on then click on the "BookMark" name, you will then have the up-to-date result. There is no manual update or refresh required.

There are 2 ways of connecting via mobile devices:
Using Chrome Browser
Using Qlik Sense App (for mobile phones only)
Using Chrome Browser | This is the same as browser any internet page by opening the Qlik Sense Hub URL directly then select the dashboard you wanted to connect. |
Using Qlik Sense App | The app can be found in both App Store (IOS) and Play Store (Android)

Search for Qlik Sense, download Qlik Sense Mobile from the list. | |
After download completed, open the Qlik Sense Hub link (https://qliksense.solvay.com/hub/stream/aaec8d41-5201-43ab-809f-3063750dfafd) from the Chrome Browser in the mobile phone. You will see the below prompt from Qlik Sense for "User Name" and "Password". Enter the "User Name" begins with eua\ and follow your window ID (example: eua\llcheong) and finally your window password. | |
Once you had login successfully, you will see the below screen. Tap on the 3 dots (highlighted in yellow) and then tap on "Client Authentication" (as shown on the right image). | |
You will then see that the message informing server has been added. Tap on "Ok" and then logout Qlik Sense Hub page from the Chrome Browser. | |
Now launch the Qlik Sense Mobile App, you will find Solvay Prod, tap on it and the Qlik Sense prompt will appear, enter the "User Name" and "Password" the same way as you did earlier in the Chrome browser.

After you had login successfully, tap on the 3 lines (highlighted in yellow), you will see all the dashboards that you have access to, simply tap on the one you would like to connect to and you are ready to navigate the dashboard from your mobile devices. |
To begins with connecting to Qlik Sense dashboards, always ensure that the device is connected to wifi - SOLVAY (as per shown in below) within Solvay sites (offices/plants). When connecting outside Solvay sites (example hotel/home), VPN is required to be activated.
