Remove a location from a locations map. If you need to update a location with a new address for example, you better should use the Create / Update a Location step-by-step to update the existing one, replacing it with an other address.

Pre-requisite: This guide considers that the concerned location map is in place. For details about that, see the Location Management page.

This operation needs to use the "Tridion Content Manager" instead of the better known "Site Edit".

Steps
Reach the web contact folder in Tridion Back Office in SW W1 xx-xx (depending on the website where you need to publish the content) and select the location have been published), browse to the location to delete, then select it.
2. Click on Unpublish icon. A pop-in opens. Stick staging & Live & click on advanced tab to stick "also unpublish in child publication". Your location will no longer be available on the location map page.
3. Reach the web contact folder in Tridion Back Office in SW C1 Master-XX (depending on the website where you need to update the content) and select the contact to deletethe location have been published), browse to the location to delete, then select it. Click on the cross to delete it.
