Overview

Solvay ONE websites are multi-lingual whereby the master content can be translated into different languages. According to your preferred language, the website will be pushed to you.

Master content > the language that you first create in. If no translation is done, this master content will be pushed to all visitors. It is recommended to create master content in EN (english).

Translated content > the master content can be translated into : BR-PT | DE | ES | FR | IT | PT | ZH

Step-by-step guide

Before to proceed to this step, we assume that you have already created your content and the master content is ready to be translated.

Step 1: Publish in child

1. Reach your page in the Solvay ONE master language: https://staging.solvay.com/one/en/index.html

title	Translation languages available?

If the "Change language" list is empty, you need to follow these steps to publish your page in child languages. If the languages are available, jump to the "Step 2" part of this guide.

2. Right click on the page, out of any content (no one border should appear, except the one all around the whole page).

Select "Publish" from the menu.

3. Thick "Staging", un-thick "Live" if needed

From "Advanced" tab, thick "Also publish / unpublish in Chile publications"

Press "Publish"

4. Wait some minutes so the publishing should have been treated, then refresh the page with F5.

Step 2: Select the translation language

While you are still in the page of your master content, click on the Change language button on the top right corner.

2. Select one of the translation language that you want to perform

3: Translate
Select the content to translate. The content should have a grey border.	Image Modified
3. Right-click anywhere within the grey box and select Localize.	Image Modified
4. A blue border is now displayed. You can edit the content by translating it.	Image Modified
5. To save your changes and publish in staging, click on Finish Editing button. if you have serval language pages need to publish , please go back to your master language , then click on "Finish Editing" , it will help you publish all the page at once. Consult your page. You can also use the Change language button to see your translated contents in different languages.	Image Modified
