BW is based on the SAP technology and therefore uses a SAP server available in the SAP Logon list.
Server List
Mostly users connect directly and only to the Production servers :
| Code | Name (See note on the right) | Description | Client |
|---|---|---|---|
| WBP | BW - Production - WBP | Main BW Production server (Rhodia Legacy BW Server). Contains all RCS based reporting as well as all of the ERP-wide (RCS+PF1...) reportings except HR | 400 |
| PQ1 | BW - Production - PQ1 | Secondary BW Production server (Solvay legacy BW server). Contains all the PF1 based reporting except HR. Go to Anon's PQ1 knowledge base for more details. | 020 |
| PQ2 | BI - Production - PQ2 (Connect) | Humain Ressources BW server - Usually not used via Analysis (it's mostly access via the Solia portal) | ?? |

For the purpose of testing modifications or if you are part of a project, you may be asked to connect to the quality servers. Those are copies of the production servers where user acceptance/tests are conducted before the changes are pushed to production.
| Code | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| WBQ | BW - Quality - WBQ | Quality Server linked to the WBP production Server |
| SQ1 | BW - Simulation - SQ1 | Quality Server linked to the PQ1 production Server |
| SQ2 | BI - Simulation - SQ2 (Connect) | Quality Server linked to the PQ2 production Server |
Other servers exist but are exclusively used for IT (Development, Sand Box).
Which Production Server to choose ?
If you know which "Application" you need to access, then check the list of applications per server.
If you only know the report name, you can ask the customer support to provide the server name by providing them the report name.
if the reports sources are from the ERP, then the server depends on the type of data : some reports will be on WBP, others on PQ1. New consolidated (Several ERP data) reports/applications will be on WBP.
Please check the applications per server page and see the "Scope" column.
The WBP production has been selected as the future Production environment. Therefore all new reporting projects will be built on WBP. Currently, all the consolidation (PF1 + RCS data for example) projects are on in progress in WBP.
Server Name
The server name in the SAP Logon list can be slighly different as it changes depending on the saplogon.ini version in your computer. The code is always the same.
IBM Servers
It is possible you may still have some servers in 2 versions : "IBM" and without "IBM". This happens if your saplogon file was not updated after the migration to IBM of all the SAP servers. If one of the servers doesn't work, try the other.
Quality Server Account
As the Quality Servers are usually copies of the production servers, the user/passwords are the same. If you do not managed to connect with your production user/password, try a previous password. Otherwise, request for a password reset.
The best way to get IT support is to use the new
Service One Platform.
