OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE DOCUMENT

The Reference Manual for Measurement has been designed to establish a
benchmark of good practices harmonized throughout Solvay.

It contains 23 procedures, that provide the tools and describe the
methodology to evaluate, compare, validate and transfer measurement
methods

The language and the statistical rules are standardized.

Tutorials, training sessions and e-learning supports facilitate knowledge
assimilation and make the Manual understandable and usable by all.

Available in three languages (frensh, english and portugues), it is well
implemented in all our analytical teams (R&D centers, QC labs).

The proposed methodologies are in line with international standards (ISO
9001, ISO-17025, ISO-TS16949, USP, UL ...)
