R&I - Reference Manual for Measurement

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE INTERFACE

The Reference Manual for Measurement has been designed to establish a benchmark of good practices harmonized throughout Solvay.

• It contains 23 procedures, that provide the tools and describe the methodology to evaluate, compare, validate and transfer measurement methods

• The language and the statistical rules are standardized.

• Tutorials, training sessions and e-learning supports facilitate knowledge assimilation and make the Manual understandable and usable by all.

• Available in three languages (frensh, english and portugues), it is well implemented in all our analytical teams (R&D centers, QC labs).

• The proposed methodologies are in line with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO-17025, ISO-TS16949, USP, UL ...)
