This Query is a "management" query for EHS administrators on all SVHC substances used by Solvay.
SVHC & SRA substances as defined by Solvay (S-SVHC & SRA substances) are
Substances that belongs to governmental or non governmental regulatory lists of interest and that
Fill S-SVHC & SRA classification criteria (official classification, self classification, regulatory list classification) that are today:
Carcinogen, Mutagen, Reprotoxic Cat 1 et 2
Respiratory sensitizer
PBT/vPvB substances (suspected or proven)
ED substances (suspected or proven)
The identification and management of substances of concern is a key element for the protection of humans and environment but also for business strategy in order to anticipate restrictions on use or even prohibitions impacting Solvay marketed products.
In this context, Solvay has referenced substances of concern in an Internal Reference List containing Solvay-Substances of Very High Concern (S-SVHC) and Substances Requiring Attention (SRA), based on worldwide legal, regulatory or non-governmental lists and classified in 3 classes (Black, Red and Yellow Lists) depending on their level of concern, crossed with substances classifications. The management of this list and related inventories is part of the HSE roadmap.
This Reference List was historically maintained and updated manually by Global registration team
Determination of SVHC status is done by a program into SAP EH&S. The result for each substance is displayed in the report
