The codification of a profit center is

Company code or plant code
Letter
Last 4 digits of the IECRA

Finance Data & Reporting > Rules - WP2 - Profit Center codification > Profit center code.png

The recommended practice is to put a Profit Center with "plant" codification in the Master Data of a "plant" Cost Center
