Purpose of this query
This queries is to be used to check the progress of the inventory stocktake (Physical inventory) for the current year.
The query shows the current stock value as well as the current value that was inventoried this year and the % of the total value it represents.
Note that only physical stocks are taken into consideration (not provisions, WIP, adjustments...)

Note that there is no selection for the date - The query will show the lastest stocks value (current day).
Filters
- Only includes data from the RCS (WP1) system.
- Because this report only displays the values, not the quantities, any materials that are not valuated will not be displayed in this report (Materials valued at 0 - consignments...).
Characteristics
Storage Location : as SAP only manages the stock values at material + plant level the value will not be correct at storage location level. This because SAP is not able to split correctly the value between storage locations.

It's the value of the inventory in the plant in local currency.

Stock total valorization Inventoried material
Description
It's the value of the inventories for all material / plants that have been inventoried this year.
If the material / plant was inventoried this year, then it's the value of the inventory. Otherwise it's 0.

It's the value of the inventory with a filter on the "Inventory Material Current Year Flag" = X.
This "Inventory Material Current Year Flag" flag can be displayed in the report as an attribute of the Material Plant characteristic :

FAQ
Question : What difference with the "Physical Inventory Coverage" core query ?
The differences with the BW - Physical Inventory Coverage Rate query are :
- In this query, if a material was inventoried in ANY storage location, it will be considered as fully inventoried - Whereas in the Physical Inventory it goes into the storage location detail.
- In this query, the current value of the stocks is used whereas in the Physical Inventory query, the end of last year inventory is used.
Question : When I display by Storage location, I have negative values and an "# Not assigned" Storage location
As SAP only manages the stock values at material + plant level the value will not be correct at storage location level. This because SAP is not able to split correctly the value between storage locations.
So if you had the storage location, you may have negative values because some material movements are not valuated by SAP. You may also have a not assigned storage location because for some valuated movements, SAP doesnt record the storage location.
Note that in any case, the total value is actual correct.
