The purpose of this document is to provide the steps how to manage Material Master data and calculate the standard price based on request (template Material Master Data request template).

Responsibilities:

- PRS: managed by ARTCOM

- PF1: accounting view of material master data is managed by FtO

- RCS (Plants inside Lyon Platform scope): RtR BO Costing Team

- RCS (Plants outside Lyon Platform scope): managed by FtO

This organizational procedure applies to everyone who has access to create and update Material Master Data in PF1/RCS systems. In PF1 responsibility to create Materials concerns to ARTCOM for the creation of the PRS view (FtO has the responsibility for the view accounting). In PF1 all materials need to be created by ARTCOM in the PRS system.
