SSO to solvay-ecommerce will work if user has both account setup and matched on CEP and solvay-ecommerce platforms.

Definition

By definition, this is a link from CEP to solvay-eCommerce with an SSO (Single-Sign-On) system.

With this feature, it allows users of both systems (CEP and Solvay-eCommerce) to no longer have to login with his solvay-ecommerce userid and password when in CEP.

Use case 1 journey

Context: User has only a CEP user account and is NOT a solvay-ecommerce user

Pre-requisite: The CEP user account is created only in Salesforce platform.

Journey:

  • Log in to CEP
  • Click to e-Ordering
  • Since user is NOT a solvay-ecommerce user, it'll arrive to the solvay-ecommerce asking for a login.

 

Use case 2 journey

Context: User has a CEP user account and also has a solvay-ecommerce user account

Pre-requisite: The CEP user account is created in Salesforce platform and has to be matched with a "Federation ID". The "Federation ID" is the email address of the user from solvay-ecommerce platform.

Journey:

  • Log in to CEP
  • Click to e-Ordering
  • SSO and redirect user to solvay-ecommerce platform in another tab without having to login again
