I/ Project presentation
To add value to Industrial Functions’ Solmax project (Maintenance Excellence program for the Solvay Group), Manufacturing Excellence and SBS IS Applications supported by SBS Decision & Piloting launched the MECANO project to quantify and improve effectiveness of industrial maintenance service.
The aim of this project is to propose a piloting tool, in a form of a dashboard, to allow monitoring and continuous improvement of the plants maintenance activities.
To reach this goal, Manufacturing Excellence in collaboration with several sites has created a catalog of metrics to provide accurate information on the key factors of maintenance monitoring (indicators such as planning schedule adherence, portfolio of notifications by priority...).

This documentation is made of 2 main parts :
MECANO Metrics
This section describes each metric and gives their definition, their SAP extraction rule, their formula, etc..
MECANO user manual
This user manual will explain you step by step how to use the QlikView MECANO dashboard.
It is strongly recommended to - at least - read the section "general presentation" before starting using the tool.
