Aim of this query

The aim of this query is to show all couples “plant x material” opened in SAP, to use stock mvts to identify the materials never used, and the materials not used in a period, and to make cleaning proposal for the material’s database

Variables screen

Several variables are available in the report to allow filtering. Please note that :

• Created on - plant view : Created on – plant view : shows when the material was opened for the first time in the plant, in SAP. Be careful with this field : as this creation date doesn’t exist in SAP. we decided to initialize all already existing couples plant/material with ‘27th June 2013’, which is the starting date of this functionality. That means you will extract nothing if you select ‘Created on – plant view’ before 27th June 2013.
• Company : This variable is mandatory because it's the authorization object for the BW stocks data. In the case where you have access to all companies, you can select all by entering "*" as value.

Important

As the aim is to identify the materials never used or not used in a period, we need to display all Material Plant.

That's why, in the table, data Material Plant will directly comes from the Masterdata [C_MATPLNT], not from the ones selected by the query
