Japan’s Nippon Shokubai is operating its 80,000 tonne/year Acrylic acid (AA) unit in Cilegon, Indonesia, at around 90% capacity after commencing operations on 20 August, a company source said on Wednesday.

It plans to ramp up the production level at the new facility to 100% in September, the source added.
