Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) is eyeing to restart its 140,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) line in Mailiao this weekend after a short maintenance, a company source said on Friday.

The company has one ACN plant with two lines at the site.

“One of the lines was shut in early week ... to do some cleaning work, and is expected to restart this weekend,” the source said.

The other line is running at 100% presently, according to the source.
