Japan’s Toagosei on 2 July shut its acrylate esters facility in Singapore for three weeks of scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.

Toagosei’s facility, which is located on Jurong Island, includes a 60,000 tonne/year butyl acrylate (butyl-A) unit and a 20,000 tonne/year methyl acrylate (methyl-A)/ethyl acrylate (ethyl-A) swing unit.
