SP Chemical is in plans to restart a styrene monomer (SM) plant. A Polymerupdate source in China informed that the plant is planned to be restarted on August 23, 2014.

It was shut for a brief maintenance turnaround of around 3 days. Located in Jiangsu province, China, the plant has a production capacity of 320,000 mt/year.
