Acrylic acid (AA) production at Momentive Specialty Chemicals’ plant in Sokolov, Czech Republic, is now running at full rates, following planned maintenance on one of its two lines, a source from the company confirmed on Wednesday.

Maintenance began in early October and the plant restarted over the course of last week, the source said.

Momentive has the capacity to produce around 55,000 tonnes/year of AA.
