Problem


After copy and paste elements directly from an external source to a Confluence page, pictures are not displayed. 

This issue can occurs when the image has been pasted from specific sources, like emails or word document




There are 2 ways to solve it:


Confluence will reference the images from that page. And if that page is restricted to viewing only by you, other people won't be able to see the images.




  1. During editing, go to +> Files and images. 


  2. Select the Upload files button.


  3. Select the file from your folder and confirm.
    You can now select your image to insert it on your page




  1. Copy your image with right click > copy
  2. Open  from windows, and paste your image in.

  3. Copy again your image from Paint, and Paste it to your Confluence page
