Currently QlikView has 4 different "clients" or ways to be accessed : 

• Internet Explorer Plugin : by far the best client, it requieres a plug-in to be installed for Internet Explorer (IE). Only works with the standard version of IE, not with the 64-bits version.

• Full Browser Version : uses Java to display the dashboard. Slower and less possibilities than the plug-in client.

• Small Device Version: intended for accessing the dashboards via phone/tablets devices (not used currently in Solvay). 

• Download : downloads the dashboard as a "qvw" file. Requires a Qlikview client to be installed on the PC. Currently only used for IT.
