General presentation

The VS Value Stream application regroups all reports relative to the Industrial dashboard and other indicators at the value stream level.

The 2 main reports are the :

• Value Stream Dashboard, also called "Industrial Dashboard" that provides many indicators at the Value stream level.
• The "Industrial Dashboard by Site", a simplified value stream dashboard where indicators are aggregated at the plant level.

The industrial dashboard main purpose is to automatically generate monthly information at a Value Stream perimeter

The information available are

• Production
• Valuated stocks
• Variable costs, non proportional costs and depreciation
• A selection of WCM indicators
• An average cost per ton of VS mix is also calculated.

 The value stream application also regroups all the reports used to check the details of the indicators found in the industrial dashboard.

Contacts

Access

Authorisations for the VS Application is done by Value Stream.
To be able to refresh the plant dashboard it is necessary to have access to all the value streams existing in that plant, otherwise BW will not return any data.

Data update

The dashboards data is updated once per month.

Concerning the detail queries, it depends on the source. Most are updated once a day.

Exchange rate used

The Industrial Dashboard can be obtained in Euros or in local currency.

Conversion rates used for conversion are the BW ones (the same than for all the BW queries) :

• “CAR3” for all financial data corresponding to P&L (all costs) 
• “ZRH2” for financial data corresponding to the Balance Sheet (Inventories)

Broadcasts

The VS and plant dashboard are broadcasted once a month to all the plant managers and are also sent to the industrial Eroom.
