• To be able to compare, evaluate measurement methods (Trueness, Precision) and follow up their performances over time (Control Chart, P/T)
• To be able to estimate the different types of error impacting the measurement
• To be able to express a measurement uncertainty
• To gain knowledge of the “Reference Manual for Measurement”
• To introduce to the use of Minitab software

Purpose

• To be able to use statistical tools in order to perform the validation of a measurement method
  To be able to estimate the different types of error impacting the measurement
• To be able to express measurement uncertainty
• To be able to define a program of validation of a measurement method depending of the context : standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, IATF 16949) or markets (Pharmacopeia, Automotive, Food …)
• To gain knowledge of the “Reference Manual for Measurement”
• To be able to use the Minitab software
