Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code 


Diplay Material Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure: Initial screen


 

 

  1. Enter the material code to be displayed
  2. Enter the plant code
  3. Enter the costing variant :
    1. Z25 in Brazil (WP1)
    2. ZEP in Korea (WP1)
    3. ZFO in other countries (WP1)
    4. ZPC1 in all countries PF1
  4. Enter the Costing Version: by default = 1
  5. Enter the validity date

 

 

The screen is divided into 3 parts detailed below: 

  1. Itemization view: Contains detailed information on cost origins and elements that make up costs. 
  2. Cost component view: List the calculated costs in a material cost estimate across all production levels, broken down into cost components  and contains detailed information on cost origins and elements that make up costs. 
  3. Costed multilevel view: Hierarchical overview of the values for all costing items of a material. 

 

 

In this view, there are several tabs. Each of them giving information on cost origins and elements that make up the costs. 

In the tab: Qty Struct, there is: 

  1. the BOM
  2. the Routing
  3. the production version

It is possible to double-click on the BOM/Routing/Production Version to display it as it is in the transaction C223 or C203

 

 

It contains detailed information on cost origins and elements that make up costs. 

The lay-out can be changed

  1. by going to the tab "Costs" in the Itemization view and choose the view to display. 
  2. by clicking the button 

 

 

 

It is a hierarchical overview of the values for all costing items of a material. It is the more detailed view. 

  1. Click on each arrow to expand subtree and display the list of raw materials
  2. In column, there is:
    • the quantity & value of each raw material
    • the split Variable costs (VC), Fixed costs (FC) and Depreciation (DEP)
    • the resource 
    • the scrap quantity & rate

Collapse subtree. Click first on the component to collapse. All subtrees are collapsed in one time instead of doing it one by one with the arrow

Click the button to print the hierarchy.

Select "Print preview of view" to export it in excel (see in next session how to do it).

Change layout

Click to display materials only or All items (including activities)





Select "Print preview of view"

It opens a new window. In the menu, click system >> List >> Save >> Local File and then save it in excel or google spreadsheet




The transaction CK13N gives the same report as the report available in MM03 - Display Material in view Costing 2. However in the view costing, we can only display the report for the Previous / Current & Future month.
