 1. Enter the Title of the operation / page

2. Add the following Labels

    • Scope of applicability: ww, country_accounting 

    • Country or group of countries (if applicable): belux, china, france, italy, lam, nam, uk_ie, bulgaria, dach, netherlands, iberia, poland, latvia, australia, india, japan, south_korea, thailand, singapore, new_zealand, emea_transversal, apac_transversal

    • Unit and Domain according to the List of labels to be used in the Finance Service Line space

      • E.g. 1: WW Operation in Financial Accounting under domain "Central Finance Processes & Compliance":

        • Labels to be used: ww, financial_accounting, central_fin_proc_compliance


      • E.g. 2: France Operation in Financial Accounting:

        • Labels to be used: country_accounting, france, financial_accounting

          (for country operations, the Domain is always country_accounting)

3. Fill in all fields as described above

4. Name the title of each section using OPD methodology naming convention - Infinitive verb without the “to”, mainly action verb...something) - " I do something..."

5. Once the description of the operation is completed, ensure it is approved and published by launching the SBS-Finance approval workflow

1. Objective and Scope

1.1. Objective of this Operation

The purpose of this document is to explain how to post the bank statements of the Netherlands companies.

1.2. Scope

This procedure applies to the following NL companies:

  • 0294 - Solvay Chemie (NL)
  • 8294 - Solvay Chemie (SA)
  • 5997 - Solvay Chemicals and Plastics Holding B.V.
  • 6012 - SolVin Holding Netherland B.V.
  • 6243 - MTP HP JV Management B.V.
  • 6244 - MTP HP JV C.V.

3. Tasks description

3.1. Responsibilities

Responsibility of Local Finance Department:

  • Provide the counterparts of the movements;


Responsibility of SBS:

  • Posting the movements in bank statement;


  • Ronald Ketting for companies 0294, 8294, 5997 and 6012
  • Mónica Seco for companies 6243 and 6244

3.2. Periodicity

The periodicity depends on the general bank flows.

3.3. I perform the booking


  • Both posting and document dates are equal, but the value date could be different.


Taking the example below, the balance of bank account should be equal to 0 EUR (to be confirmed before posting). The balance of the flows generated by the statement lines has to be recorded in the bank account 50602EUR30 (12.378,85 EUR).


3.3.1. I check the bank account

Check the previous balance in the bank account open items (through FBL3N) and also the balance after the posting, which should have a balance of 0 EUR. In this case the movements haven't been posted yet. 


3.3.2. I verify the counterparts


1) Fill Global Posting File with the bank description, amount, document date and value date (if it's different);

 

2) Contact the Country Accounting Management in order to get instructions on where to allocate it if you can't find the information in "Bank Statements NL PF1";


3.3.3. I post the document in ZZF_POSTING_FILE

After filling all the necessary information, we can post the bank movements using transaction ZZF_POSTING_FILE.
