Defining floor agreements is very useful when several teams with different profil workers ("personas") have to share the same floor environment.
For example, if you mixed Finance and Communication teams together on the same floor; they do not have the same needs : some of them are more "information workers", others are more "knowledge workers" and their use of spaces are not the same.
The need to agree on some basic rules is obvious.
