To create a new event, follow the below steps.


 + Create New Event



Go to "My Events" page from the Hamburger menu on the upper-left corner and click on "+ Create New Event"

A pop up window will be displayed. Click on "Create Full Source Event" to create a new RFI, RFP, RFQ or eAuction.

On the horizontal bar menu at the top of the screen click on "+ Create New" > Sourcing Event > iSource



When creating a Full Source Event, you should chose between 3 types of Event:


> To start from blank



> To use a template uploaded for all Solvay buyers to use (e.g. RFI General Template, Scoring SDC...)



> To re-use the draft of any event already published in the platform (e.g. quaterly tender...)

                                                                       


 Mandatory Fields


When creating the draft of your tender, on the Document Information page, there are some mandatory fields to be filled in.
  


  1. You must give a Title to your event (e.g. 2018 RM P297 > Solvay Specialty Polymers Tail-end Spend Q2)

  2. An event type has to be selected accordingly to the tender to be launched

  3. Fill in the different Axis (using the drop down menu or by moving from one tab to another with the tab key from your keyboard and typing in the data)

  4. Click on "Save & Continue" to create the draft.



 

When working "From Template" or from "Copy from Existing", you are copying an existing structure, which, you will be able to modify and amend it as per your requirements. 


  1. Select an event type to trigger the list of available tenders.

  2. Use the filters & select the appropriate event.

  3. Click on "Save & Continue" to create the draft.
