Importing files with Flash allows you to select several dozen files from your hard disk quickly and import them into the Keepeek 360° tool. At the same time, the media type is automatically detected and its metadata is copied into the information form. Finally, preview thumbnails are generated to make their use in Keepeek 360° easier. This is the simplest and fastest method but is subject to the length of the user's session. After a certain length of time (30 or 60 minutes depending on the configuration), the session expires and the import stops.

Files are uploaded into a temporary import folder and preview thumbnails are generated. Processing time depends on the media's size. Until the thumbnail is generated, the default image of a hot air balloon is displayed.
At this stage, only you can see this media. It must be added to the classification plan to make it visible to other users.

Media status then depends on the compulsory fields on the information form. If they are all populated, the media has "Indexed" status, whereas if at least one compulsory field is left empty, the media has "Imported" status.
To make your media visible to other users, you just need to classify it in the media library's classification plan.
