This process describes how to

  1. Update Value List (Market Segment Application End Use)
  2. Update Products values (Market Segment Application End Use (Internal)

Step-By-Step

Step 1 - Initial Load (May 2021)


1. Extract or get an extract of GBR34 (BW)
2. Remove all End use that have FI,PM,PX, in their codes (or SEGFI,SEGPM,SEGPX), as there are old end use we need to keep in SAP GBR
3. Remove all End use that have "OBS" in their name
4. Remove all Application that have "OBS" In their name
4. Remove all Segment that have "OBS" In their name
4. Remove all Markets that have "OBS" In their name
5. Change label prefix for end use to remove. WARNING: some end use have 2 "-". Only the value before - should be removed

Step 2 - Maintenance (change in Market Segmentation) List


  1. Change in label

2. New Value (Market, Segment, or Application)


3. Value DeletionPrior to delete value,
3.1 extract a copy of products affected, 
3.2 Inform Cloud Application Team (Drupal) at this will have an effect on Drupal databases on Solvay.com


Step 2 - Update Product relationships (internal) & (public)


  1. Change in label

2. New Value (Market, Segment, or Application)


3. Value Deletion
