Co$ta - Destination Matrix

>> Back to the Co$ta project home page

In order to give the Destination View, COSTA BW query works with Destination Matrix behind based on SAP movements. It traces all movements from the first object posting (Origin) until the last object allocation and consequent Destination allocation (P&L; Capex; Billing, etc...).

Destination Matrix is the combination of 3 tables:

  • Destination Matrix - Works identify Destination and calculate the split, when Origin posting is done on Final Object and is directly allocated to Destination
  • Allocation Matrix - Works to identify Final Object and calculate the split of allocations, when there is one or several allocations from Origin Object to Final Object
  • Pivot Matrix - Works to identify the type of Destination and calculate the split of final allocation, when there are allocations between Origin Object and Final Object

From the simplest movements:

Example 1 - Destination Matrix +Allocation Matrix + Pivot Matrix

Example 2 - Allocation Matrix + Pivot Matrix

To the very complex:

Allocation Matrix + Pivot Matrix
