IDBS External Editor Integration is a small component allowing you to directly edit a Microsoft Office document in an experiment (removing the need to download & upload the file at every update !

Please find below the installation guide. It doesn't require admin rights so any user can do it by her/himself.

1. Download the source
   

   	Inside the ELN, click on the Edit  button of any already existing experiments
   	Download the installer by clicking on the bottom left button

   
   

   
   

2. Installation
   

   Double click on the IDBS External Editor Integration Installer.msi file you just downloaded to launch the installation.

   	Click on Next
   	Tick I accept and click on Next
   	Keep the default path and click on Next
   	Click on Install
   	Wait for the completion of the installation and click on Finish

   
   

IDBS External Editor Integration is now installed on your computer !

Warning: at every PC change users will have to reinstall the component.
