Overview

A space banner can be added within a space to give its own identity.

Before to proceed to this step, we assume that you have already created your image of the banner in KEEPEEK.

No XPM is configured for this content. The creation/edition has to be done in Tridion Content Manager (Back office) itself.

Step 1: Reach location
According to your entity, go to the following location in the Tridion Content Manager. \SW C1 Master-en\Building Blocks\Component\1 ONE\Functions\xxx\1 Banner
Step 2: Create new space banner
1. Create a new component.
2. Start editing your content: Name field > Enter the space name and 'banner' e.g. Communication banner Title field > Enter a value. The title of the banner will be shown in both Master and Content page. It should correspond to the entity/space name E.g. Communication Short description field > Enter a description value to promote the identity of the space. The description of the banner will only be visible for all visitors in Master page but not Content page. Picture field > Select a picture from Keepeek directory Link field > Select a component. Onclick on the banner, it will bring the visitor to the page. Recommended: The master page component
Step 3: Save and publish
1. Save the component by clicking on the Save and Close button in the ribbon toolbar.
2. Go to the same location to find the component in the SW Wx publication. \SW W1 ONE-master\Building Blocks\Component\1 ONE\<entity name> Right click and select Publishing > Publish (select All child).
