Solution: To solve this you need to re-active the Analysis plug-in which has been deactivated by Excel.
Open Excel -> File - >Options

If you receive a message error you can check the installation log file by the installation check as described below:
On this file you have much information and to find the specific one you will check at the error folder.
On the folder you will be able to see the below error:
You need to first open "Analysis for Microsoft Excel", then open your BW file ( by File --> Open or Recent ).
Go to Open a workbook ( saved on your local drive ) for more detail.
Problem : Get the following error when opening Analysis, and the mouse cursor is all the time in "refreshing" status even no refreshing at all.

Solution : In Analyzer 7 , change the following Workbook setting to "Run Macro on Refresh".

Problem : the user is trying to use a reporting tool that is no more installed in his/her computer

Solution :
Problem : When opening a query/workbook, this screen is displayed, instead of the list of Servers.

Solution :

Problem : The folder names look as below

Analysis:
The reason might be the user's default logon language being not EN or FR or PT.
In the following example, it's ZH(Chinese), but the folder names in ZH are not well maintained.

Solution :
For long term, ask Helpdesk members to contact Authorization team to change the Logon Language to be EN or FR or PT.
For short term, when logging, the user can clicks on "Options >>" , then a language box will be shown and the user can input EN to select English.

Problem: Users can't save a workbook onto the "My documents" folder in WBP server

Solution : No solution at the moment. It's like that
Problem : Why there is no data after I save the workbook ?
Solution :
In Design Panel / Components tab, on workbook level, uncheck the "Remove Data Before Saving" option.
BW team use this option to save a template ( with no real data ) on the server. So for many workbooks on the server, this option is checked by default.

Problem : I can't refresh a workbook from my colleague with error message :

Solution :
The issue is due to your SAPLogon.ini being different from your colleague. You may need to ask local IT to upgrade your SAPLogon.ini.
Or a temporary solution :
In Design panel / Components tab, relocate the data source:

Problem : when you refresh with a broad condition, there are a lot of data to retrieve, Analysis display "Size limit of result set exceeded" in the result cell.

Reason: There can be a size limit on the number of cells that SAP BO Analysis Office should manage, either on server side, or on client (Analysis) side. This limit throws the above message when the number of cells increases above the threshold value.
Solution: The Size limit can be set to a higher value either in individual Client PC ( Option1 and what you need to do ) and the BW Server side (Option2).
Option1 : This is to be done by altering the Windows Registry Parameter.
Run the following command in Command Prompt (cmd.exe):
REG ADD HKCU\SOFTWARE\SAP\AdvancedAnalysis\Settings\DataSource /v ResultSetSizeLimit /t REG_SZ /d 9000000
This would set set the limit to a much higher value: 9000000 Cells.
Then try again, it should be ok.
If still not working, please save the file as "xlsm" file instead of “xlsx” and try again. This needs to be confirmed.

Option2: To maintain Size limit centrally. Please refer to http://scn.sap.com/thread/3459138
Problem : when you do "Filter by Member", you can't select from a list.
