Users who already have access in WBP WBV or WBQ system request for additional access in these system by creating a workorder under 'assign authorization to existing user'. Here in this work order users will mention the BW application name to which they need access and also the perimeter roles they need access.

Standard BW catalogue for assigning all the roles in BW system
First We need to make sure whether user is really existing in requested BW system or not , once we make sure that he is having access in BW system , then we need to check for which BW application user requesting access and whether user already have access to that application or not , If it is already assigned in IDM then we need to make sure all the perimeter roles associated with that Business role are assigned to the user or not. In the below screenshot user having access in BW but do not have any roles , so we need to add the roles he has requested in ticket.

Now the next step is to search the business role user requested in ticket in BW catalogue For ex if user requests SD - Sales & Distribution , assign the BR from the BW catalogue and the perimeter associated with that which are Company access , GBU access and BUS/Comp access. If these privileges are assigned through some other business roles user already having no need to assign it once again but make sure user is having all privileges which he requested for respected company , plant , GBU , sales office etc.

If user needs all Perimeter access then we should put TOUT in the place of star. eg. ZR_*_CA_P05 for all GBU access will be ZR_TOUT_CA_P05. |
Once we are done with all the above steps, we should forward or transfer the ticket to Soonaik.Wee (IS SD Authorization team) putting ourselves in the Watch list and ask him to follow up on the approval process.
Finally, after the roles are approved we should inform the user and if the user needs password reset then provide the same to the user.
We have now finished the request for the User Creation of a new user or existing user in the WBP and WBQ system.
