When a delegation form is submitted at the top level of the delegation chain, the data is merged into the system. Users with access to the analysis tools can view values using Data Browser, export the data using Data Export, and create charts or tables using Data Explorer.

Data Explorer

It allows you to create charts and tables, using any data stored against regions, indicators and a time period:

• On data tab, you select your indicators. You can use the search zone or the indicators tree. Then, you select the regions for which you want this indicator. It can be area, GBU, site…. Then you select the period
  

• On markers tab, you can define target or baseline for this indicator. Select the indicator the region and the period.

• Trends tab allows you to add trend arrows on charts to show the general trend (up or down) for a particular indicator and region over a specified period.

• Result of the previous parameters is displayed in Chart tab. By default, the data is displayed as a bar chart. Click and drag the blue edges of the chart to resize it. From the toolbar, select the chart type: bar, scatter, pie, radar, gauge or waterfall. Different configuration options are available for each chart type. Format the chart title and legend as necessary.

• The Table tab displays the values included in the chart in tabular format. Any changes you make to the way data is displayed in the chart are reflected in the table. Click Download Excel to download the values to an Excel spreadsheet

• Last tab, Load and Save tab allows you to save a chart in the system for future use, either to access from Data Explorer, or to include in templated reports or on homepage tabs. Select the system folder you want to use from the drop-down list on the toolbar. Items saved in the Public charts folder can be accessed and edited by other users with access to Data Explorer, and can be shared with all users via homepage tabs. You can load charts that you previously saved in the system in order to make changes, or to export the chart or table. Navigate to the chart you want to load by selecting the system folder from the toolbar, then the appropriate subfolder. Select the chart you want to load. A preview of the chart is displayed in the lower pane. To preview the data as a table, select Preview as table from the toolbar. Move your mouse over the chart name then click Tools > Load chart to load the selected chart.

Data Export

It allows you to export data to an Excel spreadsheet for use outside the system.

• From the Analysis tab, select Data Export

• Select the regions, indicators and time period for which you want to export data.

• In the Values section, specify how the spreadsheet should be organised and any additional data to include.

Data Browser

It allows you to check all data points written against a specific region and/or indicator for a specific time period. It specifies how the data was entered

• From the Analysis tab, select Data Browser

• From the Browse by list, select either regions or indicators to specify how you want to view the data.
