Explain what are the motivations and the expected objective behind this initiative/ what are the consequences if not done?
It is a legal requirement for our business in Saudi Arabia. Without it, we cannot send invoices to our customers. The customers will have to reject our invoices as it is not following the local governmental regulations. We would not be compliant with the local law. More info on zatca.gov.sa website For the second phase, enforceable starting January 1st, 2023 in waves, the electronic solution must be integrated with ZATCA's systems and e-invoices should be generated in the required format. |

- In Saudi we have 2 company codes impacted by the new regulation 6235 (2 invoices a month) and 6275 (4 invoices a month), representing 150 milions revenue per year (Peroxides).
- E-invoice phase 1 is applied in the 2 companies
- Each invoice is issued in 2 languages AR and EN and the AR version is mandatory by law.
