Description of the initiative | Explain the context and the initiative (current situation, linked to other initiative, pre-requisites).summary with key items:
Solvay has sold a license to produce 200 kt/y H2O2 to Sanning, a Chinese company in Hubei province in China. An operating service agreement was signed for at least 3 years. The operating service agreement requires that plant is monitored by making process and lab data available to Licensor Solvay. To ensure that Solvay can monitor and analyse the data in full autonomy, including after the 3 years agreement, a connection needs to be made to the Sanning systems to collect the required process and lab data. The data will be stored in an MES (InfoPlus.21) instance hosted and managed by Solvay. Aspen Connect will be the proposed solution for data connection, and a VPN system is supposed to be set between Solvay and Sanning environments | |||
