CE operates two styles of facilities:

• Applications Centers - large scale equipment to demonstrate the 'art of the possible' to our customers and to support market & application development activities.
• CE Laboratories - smaller scale capabilities to support R&I in material developments and to enable characterisation of materials in full support of customer activities.  CE Labs also encompass Materials & Testing Engineering capabilities that support qualification and MOB activities.  

In all regions, there are also External Collaborators whom are considered 'friendly' and have relevant capabilities to support certain projects.  The level of formality of relationships will vary in each case.
