We will use as a reference file
from the July 2020 closing. You will see that the file contains 6 tabs:
![]()
Each tab will provide relevant information to determine the monthly result that we see in KE30 on B31:

MB5B tab - Stock movements in SAP and cost of good sales
DWISE tab - Stock movements in DWISE and realized result in exchange market
KSB1 tab - Impact from Cost centers postings
Analysis tab - Final result from the outcome of the previous tabs
Tab ![]()
The transaction MB5B allows us to see the stock movements occurred on a specific period and we will be able to examine the impact on KE30 D00:

How to get the information:
a) Go to MB5B in SAP
b) Fill accordingly

c) We need to change the layout and insert two new columns:

d) Download the information to excel:
![]()
![]()
Save the file as an excel workbook. We will also use this excel file to build the rest of the analysis.
Tab ![]()
You may move/copy the information to the new file you downloaded. This will helpful to determine the customer/vendors where the stock went to.
Tab
Copy the information from tab MB5B and create four new columns:

Go back to SAP and from each line, go to the PO to get the customer/vendor number to put in our tab. How?
a) Position your cursor on the document number ==> double clik
![]()
b) Click on
![]()
c) Double click on
![]()
d) Get the information you need. Example for customer
![]()
Example for vendor
![]()
e) Associate the name to the number using the information on tab "VendorCustomer"
From the file CO2 pivot copy paste the information from DWISE in to our file. Add a new column "Year/Month" from the maturity dates to allow us to filter the information when necessary.
In SAP go to KSB1 transaction:

And download to excel the result. You transfer the tab in to our analysis file and perform the following adjustments:
a) Create two new columns

b) Delete all lines with reference to "ORBEO":

c) Build the category column according to the name column. We have the following association table but please bear in mind that it may appear postings that we need to investigate what they are:

d) For column KE30 we are differentiating the amounts that the cycles allocate to each amount:
Cost center: 2295-1110 KSB1 = KE30
Cost center: 2295-1140 KSB1*0,24 = KE30
We will now justify the result that we see in KE30 (180keur):

How to get this table from SAP?
a) Go to KE30 and use the following operation:
![]()
b) Select
![]()
c) Fill accordingly

d) Filter according to magnitude market "GYON":

e) We need to see B00 and D00 reclassified to B31. To make sure that´s the case please see column "Manual Posting":

B00 (359keur) - D00 (218keur)= = B31 (141keur)
Contact Finance operations if you don´t have this reclassification. Please find an example of the request:

We have the information coming from tab "Data"

Here we are able to see the stock movements. Overall an increase of stock of CO2 in 16.329Ton with a cost of good sales of 218keur:

This is another view on the stock variation where we reach the same conclusion:

We have the information coming from tab "DWISE"

We have the same conclusion. This means that all contracts matured had an impact on stocks in SAP. Its important to understand that the impact of this realized result (OtC market) does not come from our postings with CO2 pivot.
For July we do not had any matured result for exchange market, otherwise you would see something like this as well:

In this case this realized impact is posted with CO2 pivot and we will see the impact coming from the cost centers section. All deals in exchange market are back to back which means that we have no stock impact in SAP.
We have the information coming from tab "KSB1"
![]()
This result matches with the information we see in KE30:

We have the overall impact of the month
