Why it's useful to create template?

Create a template in ELN allows you to save time when you often run the same test with a particular protocol/equipment.


Who can create templates?

ALL key users can create and modify a template.



How to create/modify a template?

1. Select a template in your hierarchy.


2. Open and modify as an ELN experience:

  • Click on "+" to add a new item: free text (e.g. procedure), Excel with predefined table, picture of the set up…
  • Change items order
  • Save as a version

 → You can create as many templates as you like!

3. Just one difference with an experiment…

You can select if the user can delete the item (pin up) or not (pin down)
