The Export control & Sanctions (ECS) department primary mission is to ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.

This involves

  • implementing the Group Trade Compliance Program within the organization,
  • creating operational procedures that meet all applicable standards and,
  • diligently staying up-to-date on all relevant laws, regulations, and geopolitical situations,

in order to perform correct monitoring of the operations and provide the best possible advice to the business.

As part of the Global Trade Compliance mission, the Export Control & Sanctions department is working closely with General Counsel. It is dotted line reporting to Mariano Ithuralde,  Global Trade Compliance Officer within Ethics & Compliance.
