Syensqo - SVHC scope - Raw Materials
The management of S-SVHC in raw materials is the first step in the S-SVHC process within Syensqo – see more details on SVHC Intranet.
The following material groups/categories were taken into account for the S-SVHC report for raw materials:

Day-to-day base
The SVHC-Status is investigated via a rule in SAP-EHS - Z_SVHC_PRO (based on the latest version of the Syensqo Reference List) for:
Production Raw Mats (category 1) and Industrial Gases (Category 6) used in Europe for all GBUs
Production Raw Mats (category 1) used globally for Technology Solutions and Composite Materials GBUs
The communication will be done by the raw materials and purchased chemicals team according to the following flow-chart. The purpose is to help GBUs with identification and monitoring of critical Raw Materials containing Black and Red listed S-SVHC substances.
Once a year
A dedicated BW-SVHC Report was develop to get an overview about the SVHC status for the raw materials managed in SAP-EHS. A similar process as for the finished products was implemented for raw materials.
Meetings with each GBU will be performed to review all raw material/metal for catalyst/industrial gases used in production containing substances on the black and/or red lists and to discuss if further actions are required.
A dedicated template ‘Impact Analysis’ was develop for further investigation by GBUs.
