a. Purpose

Master tables are daily refreshed from external applications and also from data directly managed in Dscp such as DFU.

Volume of those tables may change suddenly, that's why they must be monitored in order to detect unexpected data and to avoid performance regressions.

b. Email Alert

An automated email is fully dedicated to inform about growth or decrease volumes. 

This email is generated by application at the end of each Static and is composed of several criteria of comparison described below.

A focus on positive or negative gaps is performed.

• First chart : Positive % of growth

Current Master table volumes are compared to Last month average and Last Week average.

All increases > 1% are only displayed.

Gaps > 10% highlighted in red.

• Second chart : Negative % of growth

Current Master table volumes are compared to Last month average and Last Week average.

All increases > 1% are only displayed.

Gaps > 10% highlighted in red.

• Third chart : Master Tables sorted by greatest number of records descending.

• Fourth chart : some specific Master Tables and their evolution compared to Last month average

• Fifth chart : largest datafields whose values may have been stored in an encrypted compressed way.

 The global level includes the combination of two task groups "Daily static + Daily dynamic". A simple way to get a quick status of the full daily run !
