IT Portfolio Role
The Portfolio ensures that the appropriate IT skills are assembled to support both IT and business in launching their small and large initiatives. The Portfolio Guardians act as the oil in the engine, ensuring that key constraints are considered and addressed.
To ensure this is being done in a structured manner a portfolio process has been set-up, in which every Monday different initiatives are being reviewed by the appropriate stakeholders.
Every Quarter all proposed initiatives for which IT sees no "IT blocking points" (security, architecture, feasibility) are reviewed with the business to ensure the most value adding and critical projects are started.
A. Purpose of Portfolio Governance & Guidance The Procurement Governance is defined to support our IT mission and provides a set of validations to drive value for the Group. As our IT activities impact operational & financial performance, Portfolio Governance focuses on helping value creation while ensuring value generation, security & spend oversight.
