All supplier documents are stored on supplier specific record REAL_SUB_E

Documents are subdivided into 2 main groups:

  • (e)SDS - (extended) Safety Data Sheets

  • related documents (Certificates of Analysis, supplier regulatory statements etc.)




(e)SDS


Depending on plant location corresponding SAP EHS (e)SDS variant is used for the upload of (e)SDS. This allows to filter SDSs in Raw Material Sinequa on a right side panel by Document type - SAFETY DATA SHEET and by Language.

Additionally, BW report is available by inquiry if list of all available SDSs with their revision dates are needed for the site.

Only released versions of supplier SDSs are available in Raw Material Sinequa while Historical SDSs are stored within SAP EHS REAL_SUB_E record for reference.

If additional information is provided by the supplier then it is stored in SAP EHS on REAL_SUB_E object as related document using one of the Variants available for Related Documents.

All Related documents are available in SAP EHS for the REAL_SUB_E. Only REACH compliance statements under variant RM_REACH are sent and as well available via Raw Material Sinequa.


Raw Material Sinequa


Raw Material Sinequa is a web based portal that easily allows to access supplier SDSs which are managed in SAP EHS under REAL_SUB_E records.

Tool contains right side panel for easy filtering by plant, SDS language, supplier, raw material category etc. Additionally, sites are able to perform search using SAP material number used for the purchase of the raw material or perform search directly with REAL_SUB_E number. Other search options are also available. Guidance on the usage can be found directly in Sinequa (right upper corner - Syensqo documentation).
