Business Term Status

The Business Term is currently validated by the Data Governance Committee.

Business Term Definition

The dimensions "Budget L1" through "Budget L5" contain the 5 levels of the Anaplan Budgeting Hierarchy, that reflects the organisation of the GBUs or functions to be used to enter and approve the budget.

Budget Levels 1 corresponds to an entity (GBU or function).
Budget Levels 5 are the points of entry for the budget data and are assigned to a Budget Owner.
Budget Levels 2, 3 & 4 are used to create intermediate hierarchy levels in the hierarchy whenever needed to reflect the organisation. Reviewers can be assigned to these levels to validate the budget coming from the levels below.

Data Quality Issues and Rules

All cost centers should be in Budgeting hierarchy.

Consistency - Active CCs to L4 in the ZCBS hierarchy: The rule checks if all "Active" Cost Centers are in "Level 4" in ZCBS hierarchy EXCEPT the Cost Centers that are in EDISCXX, they are in Level 4 but they should be blocked and be Inactive.
Consistency - Accuracy of assigning "Inactive" Cost centers to the EDISCXX node
Consistency - All cost centers are assigned to an active GBU Cluster
Conformity - SRM7 responsible codification: The rule checks if the position responsible field of the cost center has 8 digits and the first 3 digits (left to right) need to start with “500”
Consistency - All cost centers are assigned to a BSA
Consistency - All the cost centers should have a profit center associated
Consistency - Active Cost Centers (Field Obsolete_Object = 0) should be considered as inactive, according with the following conditions:
1. Creation date >= 18 months
2. AND cross check with transactional data SE16 (tables COSP and COSS with "xxx" field) to see if we had any postings in the last 18 months
3. AND Cost center does not exist in SAP Tcode OKB9 (column "Cost Center")
