Units of measure are the standard values used to describe measurements such as length, area, volume, mass, and time. They can be created locally in SAP Product Lifecycle Costing. 
The units of measure determine the units of quantity and physical units of material for all materials. Base unit of measure of the Material (1CUDIM).
