Long term hydrostatic stress (LTHS) testing shows how many hours a molded tube can withstand high hoop stresses. The samples for testing in this machine are molded tubes, which are then mounted in the tester and filled with pressurized water.

The LTHS tester can test up to 10 samples at a time at pressures up to 100 bar and temperatures up to 95°C.
