The ActiveControl tool is used to manage and control S/4HANA transports. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for executing key transport processes through the ActiveControl user interface.
For comprehensive information on the overall transport design and process, please refer to DD-TEC-170 Transport Management for Release 4.
This section outlines the steps for creating the initial Business Task and its associated Transport Requests (TRs) in ActiveControl. These steps ensure that every development or configuration change is properly tracked and managed throughout the transport process.

3. Click the “+” button to create a new Business Task.

4. Populate the Business Task form with the following fields:
Subject: Enter the Business Task name
Project: R4G1 Release 4 – Group 1
Type: Normal
Workstream: Select the relevant POD name
Description: Provide the Business Task details
Once all fields are completed, click “Save” to create the Business Task.
5. Click on edit

Click on "Create Transport"

Maintain the followings

| Target | ERD - S/4HANA and GTS Development |
| Client | 100 - S/4HANA Configuration and Development OR 500 - GTS Configuration |
| Transport Type | Customizing Request or Workbench Request |
| Transport Target | VRT |
Click "Add SAP Task (Any SAP User)"
Select own user ID or others users ID , if needs to record the changes in same transport request.
Click "Save"
Click "Yes"
Fill out Transport Form
Type: Normal only
Group: Type of changes as applicable from the Drop down.
Click "Save"
Note: Transport Request Description will be will be Amended as per Naming convention.
Now you can see that your transport request & task were generated:
Next step: continue in ERD with your Configuration or development work.
Once done return to ActiveControl. Tile "My Testing"
Here you can see the Business Task with your Transport:

To create a TOC, click on the Business Task Link and proceed with TOC generation

Then Change (Pencil icon) and go to tab Transports
To create a TOC: Open My Testing, Click on Business Task Link, Click on Edit, Scroll down to Transports, Click on TOC Icon and Select Full
Now select OK without changing the selection:
Wait until this window appears:
(this can take some time especially if you have a larger TR. If you have an error, please check if all your objects are activated first!)
After that, Save and you will see your TOC in the List of the Business Task under TAB Transports
If you want to see all TOCs for a single transport, please open the original transport, navigate to tab "Releated Items" and find it there:
